cake of the day- day 14

Today's cake just made me go 'wow'! Every time i look at it, i see something new and I just love it!
It's named 'Love Birds'.

First Cupcake Bouquet

I decided I wanted to try and make a cupcake bouquet today... so wanted to show you my first attempt :-)

'The Glamorous Lady'

My new invention... brought about by left over fresh strawberries!
Vanilla sponge with a layer of grated chocolate through the centre, topped with chocolate fudge icing piped into a rose, with edible glitter and a slice of strawberry :-)

Cake of the day- Day 13!

This was another cake of the day too but Im just in awe of her work!

EVERY thing is edible- INCREDIBLE doesnt come close to describing how amazing this woman and her work is!

Buttercream Rose!

Sooo hyped! I just made my first buttercream rose- first attempt! Really cheered me up :-)

A cakey shout out all the way in Australia!

I was just wondering the roads of Facebook when I came across Cupcake D'Lights in Australia!
Her work is amazing so wanted to show you all!

These are a very small selection of her work, but they stood out to me. The last one uses embossers which i had never considered using within the topic she has- they look great!
Also, the cupcake bouquet really made me smile as shes done her cakes how i do mine- out of fondant and NOT piped roses! I <3!

Glitter Cupcakes and Toffee filled Chocolate Cups!

SO chuffed! Was experimenting with edible glitter and decided to see what would happen if I threw some in with the batter... and it worked! I have sparkley cupcakes!

The glitter can be seen in this one :)

Also, made my first Toffee filled Chocolate Cups! Love making chocolate and decided to add toffee to this batch!

Just been looking at my page stats and have seen my blog is being viewed literally ALL over the world! Australia, New Zealand... Italy, America, EVERYWHERE!

Cake of the day- Day 10!

Today's amazing cake comes from 'The cake that ate Paris'! All the flowers are handmade and they're sooo amazingly good that I just had to share it with you. I am in love with the cake and it is just so beautiful!

Chocolateeeeee!

So excited to be able to announce the latest edition to Moonraker Cakes- our home made chocolate!

I can do white and milk chocolate, for which the milk chocolate I created today, was chocolate orange and we can colour the white chocolate to any colour you'd like! we also have more mould's on the way too! Excited!

Cake of the day- Day 7

Our cake of the day, today comes from Claire's Cakes:

Stunning! Love how Ben is the centre of the artwork even though he has so much going on around him- LOVE it! The stars on wire are really effective too.

Decision!

I made a decision today and that decision was to not focus entirely on cupcakes. SO many people do cupcakes, its rediculous- sooo I've decided to start focusing on other edibles as well and will be combining a few things in with cupcakes to create new creations :-)

All will be revealed next week!

Today's Cakes of the Day come from the Vintage Cake Company.

I was astounded by the cakes I found and couldn't choose just one... so I chose 4!

^ This one is probably my favorite. I just love it! It's so different to what I've seen before!

And  I love these because they're simple but so brilliant!

Cake of the day- Day 5

This post isn't going to be very long as I'm recovering from a migraine, but I made a promise :-)

These two images are courtesy of The Wee Bakery. I chose the fruit cupcakes because I fell in love with the middle row! I love how the colours shine through the icing sugar yet still look scrumptious! I really love this whole display.

I chose the fairy because I loved her face and how she was sat by a toadstall and butterflies. I just fell in <3 with it!

Facebook being silly!

Got busy today in the kitchen and created new cakes! The bear can be used as a baby cupcake for male or females, which i love. and the flower can be used for a lot of different occasions too. The ballet theme, I just thought was adorable!

I've been trying to make ice cream cupcakes for WEEKS and finally mastered it today! Sooo pleased with the results!

DAY 3: Ok, yesterday's cupcake is by the very talented Shell's Cupcakes!

I love the simplicity, yet complex-ness of this cupcake design, it's beautiful :-)

DAY 4:

Today's cupcake hit a chord with me. I LOVE shortbread AND cupcakes and fell in love when I saw this one! Cupcake, sandwiching shortbread and cream in one heavenly bite- amazing! Thankyou All Things Cupcake for this one!
